History

Historical Highlights
- A natural rock pool at the south end of Bondi Beach was a popular swimming hole in the early 1880s.
- Public baths were completed in 1889 and the Bondi amateur swimming club was formed in 1892.
- Bondi A.S.C. was formed in 1907, ran until 1912 and then reformed in 1920.
- The two clubs combined in 1969.
